Heatly: I just caught word of a possible trade being in the works that would include the Senator's Dany Heatly and the Shark's Patrick Marleau. The Sharks have been looking for a prolific scoring winger to play with Thornton and to shake up their dressing room.
Jmess: If the Senator's could get a quality player like Marleau given the situation Heatly has put them in then I'm sure they would be very interested in taking it. It sounds like a win-win for each team but may be too good to be true.
We so rarely see superstar for superstar swaps, I say Ottawa goes the prospect/high pick/mediocre NHLer (Cheechoo?) route to clear off some salary.

This just looks like it would be solid for both teams. It is true that you don't really see superstar for superstar these days but when was the last time we saw a superstar demand a trade in the NHL.
