Zherdev: Reports out of Edmonton are saying that Zherdev could be on the outs with the Rangers if his salary is determined through arbitration. Reports say the Rangers are likely to walk away from a big arbitration deal given to the winger. The report also indicates the Oilers maybe interested in the winger if this were to happen.
Jmess: Zherdev will probably get paid for his break out year with the Rangers and I don't blame the Rangers for being weary of what he will get out of arbitration. The Rangers along with many other hockey fans are right to be skeptical of Zherdev as last year could of just been a flash in the pan year. With Zherdevs's well documented problems it is believable that he may take more than a few nights off after landing a big contract.
